NLP - what is it? Print E-mail

NLP is the greatest psychological  territorial gain in this century

The method might be regarded as a collection of efficient techniques, sorted into a logical system.  These easy-to-use tools may be put into service immediately.

NLP is more than separate techniques for behavioural change.

NLP is a value system orientated towards solutions with focus on process instead of cause.  It is efficient and powerful, and must be used with proper regard and concern for other people.  NLP has fostered new possibilities for contact, communication and influencing, for information gathering, analysis and behavioural change.

NLP has shed light on our thinking process, how the brain works and how we can use it in a better way.  The letters stand for Neuro Linguistic Programming.  The name refers to the connection between our language and the programs in our mind and body (our neurology) which govern our behaviour.

When we know what controls our behaviour, we can change it!

Change means opportunities to

  • Create positive changes. In organisations, in people close to you and in yourself
  • Develop better antennas to register and anticipate what is happening around you, to you and to other people.
  • Control changes in a way that takes care of both your own and other people's interest.
  • Augment your will and ability to induce such changes.
  • Strengthen useful relations and break those which are counterproductive
  • Obtain your outcomes by defining where you want to go and creating the life you want
  • Increase your flexibility, your ability to act on information received on your way to your goal

Who can benefit from NLP?

These methods have been successfully used for a long time in business, in organisational and personnel development, in sales and negotiations and in national and international cultural adoption.  NLP is used in education, in the health sector, in arts, in personal development and in therapy,

NLP is also called "The Mathematics of Psychology" and 'The Study of Excellence".  The start of NLP was the study and modelling of people who reached outstanding results in their particular field of work.

What did these people say and do leading to their success? What is the difference between skills and exceptional skills? What was the difference that made the difference when these people succeeded? Can this be learned and passed on?

Many effective techniques are used intuitively by successful people.  NLP's great contribution is that they have analysed and given name to these techniques to make them available to you.

NLP can help you find more possibilities, give you overall view and flexibility, bring you success in business and harmony in your private life.

NLP is the most important method for change and communication known today.

NLP shows you how to succeed, and how success can be taught - and repeated.  NLP helps you find out what impedes your progress and how to make changes.
